2 · General Principles of Processing

I collect and process personal data of users of this website only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and my content. Further collection and processing generally occurs only with your explicit consent.

Legal bases. Unless otherwise indicated in individual cases, processing is based on the following legal bases:

Storage duration. Personal data is erased as soon as the purpose of processing no longer applies or any prescribed storage period expires. Where statutory retention obligations exist (in particular under the German Commercial Code and Tax Code), erasure follows expiry of those periods.

3 · Website Provision and Log Files

Each time this website is accessed, the web server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser. This is stored in so-called server log files. The following data is collected:

• IP address of the requesting computer
• Date and time of access
• URL accessed and HTTP status code
• Volume of data transferred
• Browser type, version, and operating system
• Referrer URL (previously visited page)

Purpose: Ensuring technically error-free operation, protection against abusive access, defense against attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in IT security and stable operation).

Storage duration: Log files are deleted after no more than 14 days. If log files are retained beyond that due to a specific security incident, deletion occurs after final resolution.

This data is not combined with other data sources. No personalized evaluation is performed.

This website is hosted by:

STRATO AG processes personal data exclusively under instruction for the purpose of providing the website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with STRATO AG.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR — the legitimate interest in a professional provision of this website. Further information is available in STRATO AG's privacy policy at www.strato.de/datenschutz.

5 · SSL / TLS Encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser address bar switching from "http://" to "https://".

6 · Contact via Email

If you contact me by email, your information (email address, name if provided, content of your message, time) will be processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry and for any follow-up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient handling of inquiries).

Storage duration: Your inquiry is deleted as soon as it has been finally processed and no further questions are expected. If a contractual relationship arises from the inquiry, statutory retention periods apply.

7 · Cookies and Tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking, analytics, or advertising technologies. There is no profiling and no personalized addressing.

In particular, no Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, Facebook Pixel, or comparable tool is used.

8 · Embedded Third-Party Content

This website does not embed external content (fonts, scripts, images, videos, maps) from third-party servers. All fonts (JetBrains Mono, Inter) and libraries (KaTeX) are served exclusively from my own server.

When you access this website, no IP address transmission to third-party providers such as Google, jsDelivr, Cloudflare, or comparable services takes place.

External links to third-party content (e.g., in technical articles) are pure hyperlinks. Data transmission occurs only when you actively click such a link.

9 · Data Transfer to Third Countries

No transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) takes place.

10 · Automated Decision-Making / Profiling

Automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR, does not take place.
